BOOK GIVE-A-WAY at AUTHORS AND THEIR BOOKS BLOG

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Authors And Their Books Blog, please take a moment and click the authors link. AUTHORS

This blog is for both AUTHORS and BOOK LOVERS - AUTHORS to showcase one of their books and for BOOK LOVERS to find some quality books.

I am trying to attract more book lovers to the blog, which is why I've designed the BOOK GIVE-A-WAY. Here's how it works.

1) Once I have fifty authors and one of their books (I have 29 now - Jan 24th) AND I have comments by 50 or more different commenters (either book lovers or authors commenting on other author's books) I'll put the names of all fifty or more commenters into a bowl and draw out ONE winner.

2) This winner will receive an autographed copy of my book DESTINY OF THE DIVAS.

It's not necessary to follow this blog, but it sure might be a good idea to do so. The winner's name will be posted on the blog once a winner is chosen. As of this posting, I have 17 followers so far.

AUTHORS

For authors hearing about this BLOG for the first time, if you'd like one of your books showcased on the site, I'll be adding two new books every day as I have authors and books to post, so first come first served. Send me the following to authorernieroy@yahoo.com - put authors and their books blog in the subject line. I will need the following:

Your book's cover - Your picture - The genre of the book - your website where the book can be purchased - and a synopsis of the book in under 1000 words. (Most are using about 300 words give or take)

Also, Authors, if you'd like to offer one of your books in this book give-a-way, let me know in an e-mail. I would love to add more books as we get more authors.

BOOK LOVERS

This book give-a-way is open to both book lovers and authors, and the cost is free. You only need to go to the blog, view the books you see and make a comment on one or more of the books listed. You only need to comment on one book, but let's face it, these authors have spent countless hours writing, rewriting, and editing, and they do it for YOU, the book lover. They would love to see book lovers comment on their books. I know I would.

If you see a book you like, and you want to buy it, click the website link listed for that author.

What a FABULOUS idea this is! One thing I've learned as an author is how so very important it is to network with other authors. Just as with so many other things in life, you CAN do it alone but it makes it so much more of a rich journey if you work together to get to that goal in your sight!
