Digital short Saturday H.R. Toye Debtor's Chip /Frederick

I have a friend and fellow author at Trestle Press, Cleveland W. Gibson, willing to step in and give his two cents on H.R. Toye’s newest release in The Debtor’s Chip series, Frederick. Cleveland is the author of the digital short stories Remains, Only The Best and the soon to released Indian Rope Trick. Personally I think this series is a winner, even though the characters seem like losers. Here is what Cleveland thinks about Frederick:

“The story 'Debtor's Chip'  by HR Toye is an interesting tale of bad luck , greed and finding out about having no future. Freddy is the central character who attracts our attention and sympathy. In the scenario of the story we are sucked in by the compulsive nature of unfolding events. To read on is the only way to discover what's next. Keep an eye on the 'chip' as something will happen with or by it. Consider too Freddy's mother. Has this reader seen the last of her? Will she return as a ghost? And what part does she play in Freddy's future prospects? We know money is tight and sooner or later somebody will call in a debt and the streets will run with blood. What will happen? Who knows? That's the 'rub.'

I enjoyed the read and don't want to give too much away.

Best wishes

I will be working with H.R. Toye on the soon to released dark horror digital short story “Give Us Your Living…NOW!”  Look for it in June, it is part of The Author’s Lab Collaboration series.
