The Eros Star was built for enjoyment but for Da’Quan it was all about the business of catching the would-be murder before he could strike again. Using the information from passengers log. Da’Quan compiled a staggering number of dignitaries, criminals, and wealthy business types that were all traveling aboard the ship. Just as the computer was about to reach the end of the list the face that Da’Quan saw in his vision popped up on the vid screen. His hair was auburn and his beard was dark red. In the photo he wore a small pearl earring. Da’Quan leaned back in his chair and starred at the image on the screen. “I got you,” he whispered.
Da’Quan wanted answers but he was not the only one who needed his thirst for curiosity
quenched Brazoll was back at Jada’s bedside with more questions about Da’Quan. “Tell me more about your friend. You said he had a kind of gift, what kind exactly were you speaking of?”Jada smiled, “He found something, didn’t he?”
There was no need for Brazoll to answer; she could tell by his expression that she was right. He sat patiently waiting for her to fill in the blanks about the gifted detective. Jada told Brazoll that Da’Quan had been born under unusual circumstances. “There was an incident during his delivery that caused a rare phenomenon called the Chameleon that has given him the ability to change…”
