Glam Metal: The Beginning

They're young, they're reckless and they’re ambitious. These four Brooklynites have a dream, a dream to be the hottest rock band ever.
Meet GM Jay lead guitarist with the glam rock band, Glam Metal. His ambition, to leave the neighbourhood, for the bright lights and promise of LA.
Nick Glam Man, Glam Metal's lead vocalist, like GM Jay, wants to shake off the shackles of the ghetto, caught up in Jay's enthusiasm, that they have the talent to make it big; he agrees to go to LA.
Steve wants in also, he can't wait to leave his over-crowded apartment, where his cousins arrive almost on a weekly basis. Only Pete is unsure:
“LA is a long way from Brooklyn guys”.
In the early hours of the morning, GM Jay, Nick Glam Man and Steve Demo nick leave their old lives in the neighbourhood to set out on a road trip of discovery across Route 66 until they reach LA.
There they discover that they are not the only ones with ambition or talent but Jay is adamant he is not going back to the 'Hood. He will use every means at his disposal to make sure Glam Metal make it.
This is their story, a story of young hopes and dreams tempered by the reality of the cutthroat environment that is the LA club scene in the mid 80s.
Join Glam Metal as they battle with other wannabe bands to get noticed on The Strip. Feel the adrenalin as they play pulsating rock to their adoring fans and follow their decent into the underworld of drugs and porn.
