Ho, Ho, Ho and a Merry Christmas to all! Some folks seem to cringe with what is now considered the PC Happy Holidays. The fact is though; the term isn't a new one. In fact, I start using it before Thanksgiving. Even if you are a strict "traditionalist" of the Christian flavor in the good ol' US of A there are three different holidays that effect the last 2 months of the year (don't forget New Year's Eve). I was always taught that three makes a group - as in plural.
Now, I can see where, as Americans tend to go with Merry Christmas over the British Happy Christmas, some might feel that Merry Holidays may reflect the season better. What I can't see is people upset when other people choose - for whatever reason - to celebrate something different or new. Let's let all the bright spots in life shine and enjoy the holidays, season, whatever you want to call it. Where's that good will toward men?

Really, it's just word choice - and isn't choice what the United States was founded on?
