APRIL 23rd is St Georgies day, and while nearly all of America know of St Patrick, not that many know of the likes of St Geoege (England) , St David (Wales) or St Andrew (Scotland).
St George is not only the Patron Saint England but also of Aragon, Lithuania, Palestine, Portugal, Germany and Greece as well as being the patron Saint of Scouting.
So if you see a white flag with a red cross flying then you know it is the flag in celebration of St George celebrating like I will be tomorrow this special English Day.
