In this fast-paced modern world, many of us can get lost in the fray of all that is going on around us. Some people get especially lost if put into situations where their lives or personal wellbeing are in danger, and their very survival is on the line. Lately, I have been meeting wonderful people who use various types of creative activities to help both themselves and others restore their connection and wellbeing after trauma, illness, abuse, bereavement or other personal loss.

THAT is the topic for discussion at a very special Blog Talk Radio broadcast I will be hosting this week:

About the episode 'Using Creativity to Heal the Self'
This week Lynn hosts Tom McGreevy, British author of Poems for Paula and I'm a Soldier...get me out of here! Tom will share his story of how he used writing to overcome his fear of death when he believed he was dying of prostate cancer, and how he now aids emotional healing by teaching writing and poetry skills to former military who suffer with post-traumatic stress. Both authors will also read selected poems from their books.
