The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

With every day already packed full of must-do activities, where can we (aspiring authors) find that extra time each day to write?

I wonder if many of you are like me -- still trying to discover more time to write. One thing that has helped me is getting rid of activities that steal my time and give nothing in return. I have never joined a writer’s group or some other club because they usually deteriorate into a boring social afternoon each week. I’ve found that I could write a lot of words in that same period of time. Of course, I don’t want to become a recluse, though.

We do need the stimulation of being with others. I guess what I am trying to say is that I have had to learn to cut out activities that waste my time instead of enriching my life.

I’d love to hear from you what you do to find time to write.
