I'm still alive

I haven't been around much lately because "real life" as we love to poetically call it has taken a toll. We bought a house that ended up needing WAY more work than we thought (like gutting the bathroom for example), I've been working almost non stop (and not at writing sadly) trying to keep us afloat while hubby looks for a full time job - not so easy when his main qualifications are healthcare and we don't know anyone in this county (typical small town you gotta know someone to get somewhere) if only the healthcare around here wasn't all part time and low pay...

blah, blah, blah. I could go on, but enough whining from me ;) Anyway, missed everyone and hope to get back in the swing of things. My book sales dropped off to pretty much zero there since there was no advertising going on, so I am trying an experiment and have put the first book free (thanks to amazon price match it's free there too.) and dropped the prices on the others as a "holiday sale". I'll post my results when I have some hard data to share.
