I'M STILL HERE, BECAUSE YOU HEAR

BECAUSE YOU HEAR, IS THE REASON I’M STILL HERE

I entered this world on a cold February day.

Now battered and bruised, I’ve worn out my stay.

The mist that’s been my life has flown by,

I feel lost and empty, waiting for my answer…. WHY?

Mighty God, My Lord, I remain hollow and broken,

I’ve shouted, I’ve whispered, I’ve cried, but still you’ve never spoken.

You’ve told us to be still, have Faith, never cease to pray,

I long for your touch, answer from Heaven, my deliverance day.

Daily I count what my ignorance has cost, nothing I say or do will bring back the life I’ve lost.

Always running, turning a deaf ear, leave me alone God, not now! Time has slipped by, this pain has made me weary, I want to hear from you….but how?

I was given by my mother the road I should take, but a teenager had all the answers, not realizing what was at stake.

The things you do today are sending a signal into the spirit world, who are you inviting into your life? The author of Peace or the author of strife?

If you don’t feel their presence, believe me, their in the battle for your soul.  I beg you today, choose Jesus or there will be a costly toll.

One day your life is happy, without a care, a trail of bad decisions, now life’s more than you can bare.

It makes it much easier to tell yourself God doesn’t exist.  The Devil loves to hear you say that, he doesn’t even have to twist your wrist.

The decision is ours, God’s given us the free choice to make, ignore the Creator and you’ve told Satan what road you’ve decided to take.

I search for peace but it continues to elude me, but God’s Spirit stirs deep within.  I know in my heart Jesus sacrifice has paid for my life of sin.

Please young person don’t waste all the fortunes your Creator has given you, life flies by fast and it’s all a test….surrender your life to the Savior and your reward is eternally blessed.

As the day slowly fades away, REMEMBER YOUR FATHER NEVER STOPS LISTENING, GIVE HIM GLORY, GIVE HIM HONOR, GIVE HIM PRAISE, HE’S GIVEN YOU THIS DAY.
