I lost my way through life.

I felt worse than a cut with a knife.

Feeling angered and all alone

Made me see what I have thrown.

A peaceful life it should have been,

But all I could do was to blame and sin.

Having faith and a belief,

Helped me carry on and have some relief.

The courage to change and the wisdom to know,

Helped me to have a path to go…

Don’t get discouraged and feel defeat.

All things are possible right at your feet.

Foolish of me for believing in you.

Counting on you was the most stupid thing to do.

You broke my heart, split it in two,

Now it’s over, we are through.

I’m not gonna complain for what you have done.

I’ve gotten smarter, thank God you’re gone.

Can’t complain cause now I’m free.

Fresh air finally I can breathe.

Now I’m stronger much more than before.

So glad you walked out the door.

You’ve giving me so much material to write.

Now I on stage under a spot light.

So don’t have a problem with all the shit I took.

Cause look at me holding my new book.
