ISIS, ISIL, IS, or Al Qaeda Version 2.1?

Okay, let’s see. The most common acronym you hear is ISIS. The U.S. officially calls it “ISIL”, but since “Daesh” was the preferred term used by Arab allies, top U.S. officials also decided to use that. A number of major news organizations also call it the Islamic State, and the militant group itself wants to be called that way. Why is there so many names for a single organization? Well, no matter how many names the media gives them, one thing is clear; they do not represent Islam.  Read more here
