Gaaaaaahhh! Just spent ages online, and on the telephone, organsing PR and a possible launch date for 'Abernethy'. It's frustrating, depressing, and yet exciting all at the same time, isn't it? I had to take a breather, so I decided to You Tube some Jim Croce, and I listened to 'I Got A Name'. It's been almost thirty years since his death. At the risk of sounding arty-farty, I feel like that song reached me today. It summed up how I'm feeling at the moment. Especially when he sang, 'Like the fool I am and I'll always be, I got a dream...' It made me feel a bit better, actually. Uh, if any of the beneficiaries of Croce's estate are reading this, please don't sue me because I've got no money. Now, if everybody gets a copy of 'Abernethy' when it is back from print, that might be a different story.... (the noise you heard, reader, was the heavy hint I dropped thudding on the floor!)
