JoeyPinkney.com Author Interview Series (June, Week 2)

YOU need to check out these interesting author interviews that YOU missed. There was a new author featured in the JoeyPinkney.com 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... Author Interview Series Monday through Friday of the second week of June just for YOU.

Monday, June 7, 2010: 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... Rahiem Brooks, author of Laugh Now

From the interview: "My writing process is very strict, like a diet. I do write a story map because I write urban thrillers, and the plot has to be tightly woven with a neat and tidy conclusion. I write small chapters because I play each of them in my mind like a movie scene. I edit and revise extensively to be sure that each chapter has the five senses so that my readers are watching the same movie as me."

Tuesday, June 8, 2010: 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... Vogue, author of Diamonds In The Rough

From the interview: "As an avid reader and lover of street fiction, the idea for Diamonds in the Rough came from wanting to see a different female character than what I had been reading. Most of the female characters in street lit are born in the projects or in harsh environments."

Wednesday, June 9, 2010: 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... Wyatt Bryson, author of Onyx and Eggshell

From the interview: "Onyx and Eggshell are the sorority’s colors. Onyx is usually thought of as black but is really many different shades. Eggshell isn’t really white but off white. The colors basically break down to black and white. Like with most people, there are many different shades in between."

Thursday, Jun 10, 2010: 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... H. Ronald Roseboro, author of Is There A Samson In You?

From the interview: "Although Samson’s strength was second to none during his earthly reign, his strength was impeccable but his character was not. In this book, both men and women will discover Samson’s issues of lust, anger, lack of accountability, lack of prayer life and flirting with addictions."

Friday, June 11, 2010: 5 Minutes, 5 Questions With... Teresa D. Patterson, author of Spin Cycle

From the interview: "The key to my writing success is to never give up. When I formed Edit Again Publications in 2009, my goal was to publish two titles per year. So far, I’ve been able to accomplish that goal. Even though it was released a month later than I planned, I made sure that I got Spin Cycle out to my readers."
