Learn a language on the Internet, either oral or written. With the facilities from Skype you can do it wherever you are.  You save on transportation cost and the time can be at your own convenience. The only factor to be careful of is never to pay the lump sum for the tuition fee. It is better to pay it on weekly basis or on daily basis. This way, if the tutor is not up to your expectation, you can walk off without any obligation.

Whatever you have written can be emailed to the tutor and he can return it to you as soon as he had corrected it. For best result, always do it on one to one basis. If a tutor insists on lump sum payment, it is best to ignore him because the Internet is simply full of cheats. However, those honest ones must forgive me because I need to protect my readers.

For those who are interested to learn the English Language, it is bests to start off with English Usage, Grammar and English Language Structure. Once you have mastered these basics, the rest will be smooth sailing.

The next factor is to tell your tutor in what sort of environment you need to communicate in English, so that he can prepare your lessons based on your personal requirement. Are you appearing for the Cambridge University “O” Level English Language paper? You may only need to learn English to communicate with customers at your Supermarket? Each person will need to master a list of basic words required for his or her occupation. Are you a tourist guide, hotel employee, or s sales person?

As your vocabulary is building up and your ability to express yourself improves every day, the rest of the learning is a matter of practice.  It is like riding a bicycle.  Once you can ride on your own, you can forget about the instructor.
