The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Hi,

I am a newcomer to Book Marketing Network.

I have survived two rare illnesses. They are considered life-threatening, one even called "fatal". In my opinion, they are life-threatening because, all too often, they are not diagnosed early enough. Speaking from experience, I know one reason is that medical professionals do not listen to the patient. They are busy and have been trained to run tests, look at the numbers and interpret them as they were taught to interpret them.

Another reason is that they are not that well known.

I wrote "Microscopic Polyangiitis. We're not lazy. We're in Agony!!" and "Beating Back AL Amyloidosis" to raise awareness of these serious conditions. With MPA, they claimed I was in remission, when in fact, I am cured. I have been in "remission" from Amyloidosis for about 16 months now. Yet the information on the Internet is so gloomy. In reality, It's Not So Bad!  I do credit the power of prayer (doctors helped).

In my books, I also suggest probable causes of these illnesses both classified under "Cause unknown".
