The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

What in tarnation's a blidget?

It's a sassy little widget to help drive more traffic to your blog.

You can create your own blidget at Widgetbox.com and then (a) easily add it to your online profiles (such as MySpace or Facebook) and (b) choose a "channel" to join to add your blog to the Widgetbox Network.

Sound like gobbledy-gook? Widgetbox guides you through each stage (it doesn't take long) and—voilà!—provides easy, one-or-two click steps to add yours to various online outlets.

It's as Easy as Falling Off a Weblog

I'd never heard of a blidget until today and had no idea what I was doing when I first got there . . . but soon I was adding my new blidget to Facebook (Milli's Facebook profile) and feeling pleased with myself for being so Web savvy.

Here's my blidget. It was easy to paste the appropriate code into this post once I chose Ning from the list.

You can also see how a network looks at my blog. Just scroll to the bottom of my blogger.com page and look for 'Fear of Writing' in the purple blogroll on the right hand side:
