MURDERING the TRUTH

A premeditated thief of something valued

A conscious and deliberate act of taking what’s not yours

Scared of the truth or the consequence of it

A curtain that hides, until drawn for all to witness

Time erodes at the willingness to tell of truth itself

Deception blinds those looking for or unwilling to see the obvious

A murder a day keeps all unwanted and non social away

The race to find the truth or fact of race ignored

Dreams murdered by the reality of being poor as the rich remain with no give

An alibi we all hide behind with little or no disregard

Life discovered, as one is lost or extinguished by those trusted with

Belief murdered by doubt, truth lost to the pain of knowing

Love loses belief with every murdered heart

Detectives gather clues to find reason of or answers too, while victims suffer

Defining murder, is to kill with or without cause

Victims of flesh or soul, taken without reason or care

A breath stolen from lungs of faith, blood drained from beating hearts

A life taken, is a wealth of being ripped from loved ones without thought

Condemned by a jury easily, by GOD always

A sentence to punish a crime and never the act of stealing life

A government that murders their promises with ease

A church slaughters an innocent lamb or child for pleasure

The belief of, in order to make sense of tragic

Questions without answers, crimes committed without reason, faiths believed without hesitation

A murder of flesh or faith, belief in words preached, lyrics sang with passion, promises of the past that gives all hope

Democracy murdered in the 1^st degree by those voted in to protect it
