Never Give Up on Love

Mine has been an interesting life. Never a dull moment, as they say. I have written a memoir to share the interesting parts of my life with the world. I had experienced more in the first 18 years of my life than most people experience in 50 years. Granted, not all of it was good nor was it all easy to go through, but it was a learning experience. One that I hope to share with others that they may find the lessons put before them and grow with each, as I have grown.


I fell in love more than 30 years ago, and I carried that love with me, deep in my heart, with faith that one day it would be realized. Seventeen years later it was realized, and though we'd spent all of those years apart, our reunion erased them all. We knew each other without question and picked up where we left off and have never looked back.


The love of my life made a promise to the man who would become my first husband. "If you hurt her or leave her, I'll be back." He kept that promise and I live in that promise each day.


As a teen, I plowed throw life, demanding that it take me where I want to go. During a fourteen year period of abusive marriage, I lost that snow-plow attitude and became a suffering waif. Once I reclaimed my independence, my life turned around in ways I had never imagined.


My desire is that my story will inspire others to never give up on their dreams, no matter what they are or how far they seem to be from reach.


I invite you to walk the path I trod, without the pain involved in living the life I've led. Learn from my mistakes and triumphs.
