No Ones Decision, But Yours!

Life....could it be any harder? Could the lessons learned be taught in a easier arena? Have we all said ' if I could only do it again I would surely have done many things differently? Do we often find ourselves talking to ourselves and telling ourselves how much our life sucks? By carrying on in this manner we must think that God will surely hear our displeasure and change our circumstances, but God has said his ways are not like ours and his thinking is much higher. So being a Christian why do we toil so intently with the what ifs, should ofs, could ofs, living in the past without any possible way to change positively nothing. That's where our adversary roams like a roaring lion looking for whom he may destroy. He doesn't care if the thoughts he feeds into your head ever materialize, he just wants your head so congested with the cares of this world there's no room for the things of God.

I believe after years of struggling with the things of my past and the people I've damaged in my trek to make myself acceptable to myself, my life hasn't been a testimony to the goodness of God, but a testimony to what a life centered in selfishness is able to accomplish....Nothing!!

I think the majority of parents continue to fail their children, because they don't emphasize just how important it is to live a life honorable before God. We are basically drawn into a culture that encourages treating your children as your 'friend', therefore we need to be cool and we need to tolerate the 'new school' rather than the 'old school.' Old school might not be hip by today's standards, but it sure seemed like America was more Godly and sane in simpler times.

We're moving at a break neck pace in Bible prophecy. World events are coming together for the end time scenerio. Can we truly stay on this course of I won't say this because it's offensive, I don't believe that way because, you're Ok and I'm Ok, and if it feels good....go for it! We've become a nation of I'll believe it if I see it and if I keep my head in the sand long enough it'll go away. Unfortunately the only thing going away is our freedom. God has dealt with nations throughout history for ignoring him, don't believe America has an exemption card.

God chose to be a mysterious God, to answer prayers when least expected and to withold his Blessings at his choosing. He says in his word he will have compassion on whom he chooses. God says he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. What could possibly be better then to spend time in his Word and in prayer and unlike man God can't lie. So you're being told that the God of the universe CAN BE FOUND!!

If you're like I was.,..I'll seek God tommorow I've got a lot of living I need to do first. Honestly, you only have as much living as Jesus allows you to experience. What if for no apparent reason your heart were to stop, a tractor trailer runs a light and broad sides your vehicle or you visit the doctor and receive the report of stage 4 cancer? How much living do those scenerios offer? A few seconds....a few months? It's never too late to repent and ask Jesus to be your Savior, but will you have that second to ask him? Is eternity really worth risking for a few moments of pleasure?

I wonder how many countless millions of people are in hell, suffering 24/7. Unlike anything this world knows as suffering....relentless non stop torment with absolutely no awareness of God....NONE....he's been totally removed from your mental state. No crying I'll change, please forgive me, please stop the agony. To late, whatever the last attempt God made to reach you, Pastor, friend, a doctor a your bedside, a radio or television message....something inside you kept telling you 'there's a chance I'll make it and I can still make a decision for accepting Jesus tommorow. It's Russian Roulette click....click....click....BANG!!!

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and everything you've ever done playing before your eyes and oh yeah the one thing you never did....accept Jesus. You might have been tough on earth, but that isn't working here. Are you honestly ready to step off into eternity without a Savior? No one can make that decision, but you!!

No one will spend that eternity in hell, but you!! THINK ABOUT IT!!! Is everything this world has to offer really worth eternity without God? How shallow or blinded we continue to be.

Ask Jesus to forgive you and come into your heart. God knows your heart and he will be your Savior and Lord, but God will not be mocked. God knows we are only dust and he knows we will probably fall along the way, but God is Faithful to forgive you and deliver you if you'll keep seeking him.

Things could more then likely get worse, because Satan doesn't want to let go of you. God also will allow things to happen to test your sincerity and perseverence in following him. From the day you ask Jesus into your heart he has said he will never leave you or forsake you. You've made the RIGHT decision, the God who knew you before you were born is your friend, not like the world has to offer, a friend for eternity.

This life flies by, you're a small child and you can't wait to be older and then you get older and you want to be young again. A restless spirit passing through on a journey called life with a God who loves you, even enough to write a book to help you get the journey right. If you receive him today I promise you that whatever you feel you've got to give up to live for God, he'll fill it with something far greater.
