Oh! The pain was tremendous. Oral surgery is no fun. I had the last of my teeth pulled last week, and I'm not happy. It was, of course, the smoking-40 years of it. But, then, 40 years ago who knew. Anyway, the "happy" gas didn't work, and the needles seemed to hurt more this time than any time before. I'm healing quite well-taking big time Ibuprofen and an antibiotic. The stitches come out on 18 September. I wonder why one can take rather large body blows, but when it comes to anything happening in the mouth all control is lost? Ah, well, it's done-now for trying to make these plastic jobs stop irritating. And, tasting blood isn't too much fun either. Yeah, it's still oozing a bit. Anyway, I hope to be able to concentrate a bit later on this week after regular working hours to get something done with the writing part. It's one of the little things I do-talking out loud through the process just to see how it rolls. Right now I sound like I have a mouth full of gauze-still. I'll get back to everyone in a couple of days-still trying to find a way to get SMALL GIFTS: very short stories with a touch of faith off the ground while writing another. And, the surgeon said, "Man up so we can get this done." I wanted to belly pinch him to his knees-no point to it I guess.
