Obama's First Term In Office: What does it have to do with an ancient prophecy?

"This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change."
–– From Barack Obama's acceptance speech.

Obama's campaign ran on the platform of change. His first term ends in 2012, the prophetic end of the ancient Mayan calendar. Talk about change! December 21, 2012 marks the end of an "Age" or "Sun" as they referred to it in their culture. It also marks the beginning of a new Age – perhaps even a new age of enlightenment – but it is said the current Age will bring "the end of the world as we know it" and that end could be catastrophic. Many non-fiction books have been written about this coming event (just Google "2012, mayan calendar" and you'll see what I mean). However, only a handful of novels have been written around this theme. My novel, The Ezekiel Code, is one of those few. As the story unfolds a frightening question comes into play: Can we even make it to 2012? Why would such a question be asked? Oh, now it would be a bit of a spoiler if I revealed that, wouldn't it?

So while we're all waiting to see just what kind of changes we end up with at the end of Obama's first term in 2012, why not curl up with a good book which is unique among the rest, to say the least. The Ezekiel Code. 2012 is coming... Or is it?
