The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

From my eighteen to my twenty-second birthday, I feverishly produced a novel once a year. I was a creative writing major, and I was on a mission. Unfortunately, I could never convince any of the major publishing houses to accept my work.

Those days have changed. Publishers have been run out of a very difficult business. Writers have replaced them. I am one of a new generation of self-promoters who do everything ourselves, and answer to no one.

Most of my high school friends have raised children. Each time one of them came up pregnant, I watched as they prepared for the event: joy at conception; months of anticipation and anxiety; and, finally, the moment of truth.

Until now, I never knew that moment of truth. That has also changed. My new book is off press and on its way to Amazon's warehouse. Mind you, it's not a novel. It's a narrative about how to get a job for a major American corporation without a valid job history or resume. I would have never guessed how my life would turn out. But now that the "baby" is here, I couldn't be happier.

His name is "screw the recruiter". He has his own website: http://www.screwtherecruiter.com.

He's even potty-mouthed, just like daddy!
