I think it is safe to say that if our numbers are any indicator, Amazon is squarely entrenched as the leader in eBook commerce. Through September 30th, 52% of our eBook sales have been through Amazon. No shocker there, but our #2 store is a shocker, Kobo at 16%, with a very tight lead over Barnes and Noble at 15%. Apple comes 4th at 9%, and Smashwords is the only other full percentage performer at 4%. We currently distribute through 10 stores, 3 of them have reported no sales what so ever.

These numbers would lead most people to suggest that we should realistically drop stores 6-10 (Google, Sony, our own store, Diesel and Omnilit), but a little closer analysis shows value in some of their retention.
