Show our Gratitude to God

“Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:17 nrs).” We have a lot to be thankful for. God has given us many things like our family and friends, the air we breathe, the food we eat, the gadgets that make our lives easier, all the animals we see, and everything we find in nature. Regardless of who we are, all of this is available for us to enjoy. Most importantly, God gave us our Master Teacher Jesus Christ to help us find the right and perfect answers for our lives.

God gave us so much, yet sometimes we forget to thank Him. Some of us are not used to expressing gratitude to God for all He has given us, we just take them for granted. When a person does something for us we feel gratitude towards him or her, however, we seem to forget that God also gave us our family and friends, and we fail to thank Him for that. Let us not forget that it is God who gave us all that is good in this world. It is God who showed us what it is to experience love, joy, and peace. And it is God who made us in His image.
