The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Hi - John Wolf here. I have a show on public access television called The Writer's Loft that covers the waterfront for writing. We try to get into the writer's mind and focus on different aspects of writing with each episode. We have four shows (30 mins) airing in the San Diego area or digitally steamed on DelMarTV.com at the present time. Episode 5 will soon join the others and six and seven are being worked.

If you have a favorite area of writing you think the public would enjoy hearing about, please contact me, and we will see if we can put a show together for it. Cox Cable (check their schedule - they air twice a month) and TimeWarner Ch 19, every Thursday at 5pm are the general television watch times, but the coolest is going to DelMarTV.com, opening the schedule pdf for each month and flagging the shows. They air three times a week! Then match that time precisely and the show will come on, given no server failure.

Here's the elevator speech for the shows:

Ep-1 The Crow's Nest - the environment writers go to for inspiration to write.

Ep-2 Wordsmiths - interviews with Richard Lederer (language expert) and Alan Russel (mystery writer)

Ep-3 Book Builders - interview with Bob Goodman on how to design a good book inside and out

Ep-4 Stringers-Freelance Journalism - interview with LinDee Rochelle journalist for magazines and now a book

Ep-5 Writers Ink - a video essay and visit with San Diego Writers, Ink an organization for all writers

Ep-6 Ghostwriters - talent booked, working on the interviews.

Ep-7 Professional Writers - technical writers for science and also a look into university press (half done)

If you see the shows, let me know what you think. You can post at JohnWolfBooks.com, FoxandQuill.com or GeneralSpecifics.blogspot.com

Enjoy - J. Wolf
