The Advent Christian General Conference or most commonly known as the Advent Christian Church is one of the several Adventist churches that was developed from the teachings of William Miller during the late 1840s. The denomination was organized in 1860 with doctrinal emphasis on the anticipation of Christ’s Second Coming and on the Last Judgement. The church believes that on Judgment Day, the wicked will be destroyed and the chosen ones will be resurrected to live in the restored paradise on Earth. Unlike the Seventh-Day Adventists, the church hold services on a Sunday.
