“The Lost Tribes of Twelve and YAHveh the Father”

A Message for the Last Days

By

Gregory V. Boulware

"What is the Name of YOUR God-the one you call Lord?"

 "Give Him the Name YAHshua"

YAHveh, the Holy One of Israel, became flesh and blood and dwelt on earth to bring salvation to Israel and all Gentiles later to be joined with her. In Hebrew, the word for salvation or saves is SHUA. That is why the angel told Joseph, "she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name YahSHUA, for it is He who will save His people from their sins" (Mt 1:21). ...

When Messiah was first named by the angel, and later given that name at His circumcision, a Greek name would have never been permitted. Jews were vitally concerned with pedigrees. According to Jewish biblical tradition, the name of the offspring was always given with the name of the father. It was completely unacceptable for a Jew to take a Gentile name. ...

Using YAHshua's true name brings glory to the name of YAHveh the Father.

The Twelve Tribes were divided due to Shalomon's idolatry. Yisraelites did escape and returned to Yisrael, the rest were scattered around the four corners of the Earth.

~We All Come From These Lost Tribes of Twelve~

The Twelve Tribes of Israel

The twelve tribes of Israel are mentioned in Revelation, chapters 7 and 21. Their mention is far more than a "curiosity" (as it is treated in most studies of Revelation.) Rather, God's prophetic plan through history and concluding in Revelation centers on Israel, as represented by the twelve sons of Jacob and their progeny. There are several important points to take note of in their history that help explain what God's plan for them (and the world) is all about.

BLESSINGS AND PROPHECIES

Although Israel and the Jewish people can trace themselves back to Abraham, they are commonly called the children of Israel, with "Israel" being another name for Jacob the grandson of Abraham. (A name given to him by God.) Before Jacob died, he met with his sons and two of his grandsons to talk to them about what would happen to them (their descendants) in the last days and convey certain blessings. (Genesis ch. 48 & 49.) One item of significance regarding this final episode was that Jacob took the inheritance of the first born son, Reuben, and divided it up between the other sons. This was very much due to Reuben's sin (Genesis ch. 38) and his own lack of leadership ability.

Levi

Be Holy Because I Am Holy

The Most High has always purposed to have a holy priesthood who could stand in His presence and bring His glory to a lost world. Initially He performed mighty acts of deliverance on behalf of Israel to create a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Israel fell short by neglecting YAHveh's holy requirements. In order to fulfill the desires of His heart, YAHveh sent His Son to redeem both Jews and Gentiles to become His eternal holy priesthood.

YAHveh is very specific about the religious requirements of this priesthood. He is raising up a remnant, a "Zadok priesthood," that is distinctly unique from the ranks of professing believers. Zadok means "righteous."

To Judah, he gave the kingship, as well as the "leadership" role among the brothers. This was also a rebuke of Simeon and Levi, as they were #2 and #3 in line. This may have been due to the violent course of action they had taken following the rape of their sister Dinah (Genesis chapter 34). Judah was the fourth son of Leah. Regardless of his mistakes, it was he that showed the best leadership ability and commanded the respect of his brothers. It was from Judah that the kingship (scepter) would not pass until Shiloh (Messiah) would come (Genesis 49:10). As prophesied, Yeshua the Messiah came from the tribe of Judah.

To Joseph he gave a "double portion" of the land inheritance, passing it on to Manasseh and Ephraim, his sons. This was due to Joseph's righteousness as he displayed throughout his time in Egypt and to his family when they were reunited (Genesis chapters 39-47).

M'LOH HA GOYIM - THE FULLNESS OF THE GENTILES

Jacob's blessing over Joseph's children is especially important with regard to prophecy (Genesis ch. 48). At this event, Jacob deliberately switches what would be their normal order of blessing. He gives the younger son, Ephraim, the "higher" blessing of the older son. What is critical here is verse 19, where Jacob prophecies that Ephraim's descendants would be among the nations. The term he uses is m'loh ha goyim, or "fullness of the gentiles." If this phrase sounds familiar, it is because Paul uses it in Romans 11:25, when speaking of the final redemption of Israel. Paul is not speaking of "the gentiles" when he uses this term, rather he is referring to the return the exiled ten tribes.

The name "Ephraim" itself alludes to the future dispersion among the gentiles, and subsequent redemption:

Genesis 41:52: And the name of the second he called Ephraim: "For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

Midrash Rabbah Exodus I:33: It is the custom of the righteous to name their children from some event, which has occurred. What does it say in the case of Joseph? And he called the name of the first-born Manasseh, for God hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house (Gen. XLI, 51). And the name of the second called he Ephraim; for God hath made me fruitful in the land of my affliction (ib. 52), so that he should always be mindful of the miracles God had done unto him.

There is an interesting teaching in the Zohar concerning a vision of the future that Jacob had at the time he blesses the two boys. Jacob sees that through Ephraim, Israel would fall into terrible idolatry:

Soncino Zohar Volume I p. 228a - When Jacob was about to bless Joseph's sons, he saw by the Holy Spirit that Jeroboam the son of Nebat would issue from Ephraim, and he exclaimed, “Who are these?” the word “these” (eleh) being an allusion to idols. The reason is that besides the evil serpent there is one that rides on it, and when they are joined together they are called “these”, and they visit the world with all their hosts.

It is also interesting to note in the above quotation from the Zohar, that there is an evil entity (spiritual idolatry) that rides upon the back of the serpent. This is similar language to Revelation chapter 17, where the "whore" (spiritual idolatry) rides upon the beast.

Dan

The Serpent Trail Begins

Anti-Semitism is an ancient hostility toward the Jewish people and their God, YAHveh. In order to understand the essence of the hatred and persistent warfare against Israel, a brief history of anti-Semitism is needed. The battle between God's people and Satan has raged since the Garden of Eden; it has left a bloody trail throughout biblical and world history. The Serpent will continue to spew his anti-Semitic venom until the Messiah crushes him and all of Israel's enemies under His holy, vengeful feet.

Do You Know What Hurts Me?

The purpose these chapters are to expose Satan's strategies and lies, many of which have become imbedded in the doctrines and traditions of Corporate Christianity. It is important to note that these chapters are not intended as an indictment against any individual, race, or religious group.

For almost two thousand years, Messiah's blood has been trampled as His brethren, the Jews, have been persecuted, tortured, driven out of countries, and killed in the name of Jesus Christ. Many Christians have believed the lie that the Jews were "Christ-killers." Consequently, much of Israel's history has been written in the blood of YAHshua's slaughtered brethren.

ISRAEL IS DIVIDED

Towards the end of his reign, King Solomon fell into the sin of idolatry, worshiping Ashtoreth, Milcom (Molech) and Kemosh. For his idolatry God told Solomon, I Kings 11:5 - "Since this is your mind, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant."

God sent the prophet Ahijah to Jeroboam, of the tribe of Ephraim, whom Solomon had made ruler over the laborers of the house of Joseph. Ahijah prophesied that God would take 10 tribes and give them to Jeroboam and if he would listen to all that God commanded him, and walk in the ways of the Lord, and do what is right in God's sight, keeping His statutes and commandments, that God would build for Jeroboam a sure house, as He had built for David, and would give Israel to him. Immediately upon hearing this, Solomon sought for the death of Jeroboam. (I Kings 11: 26-40)

Upon Solomon's death the people of Israel gathered at Shechem to make Rehoboam, Solomon's son king. Jeroboam who, until now, was in Egypt was sent for. He came together with the people to petition Rehoboam to ease the yoke that Solomon had placed upon the people of Israel. Rehoboam disregarded the counsel of his father's advisors, and instead listened to his friends whom he had grown up with. Rather than easing their burdens, he promised to be even harder than his father had been. The people rebelled and the ten northern tribes broke away from the Davidic kings of the tribe of Judah, and under the leadership of Jeroboam, the Ephraimite, set up a new kingdom. (I Kings 12:1-20)

Just as God had prophesied to Jeroboam through the prophet Ahijah, Jeroboam was king of ten tribes, and was well established, for God Himself stopped Rehoboam’s attack. Instead of doing as God had instructed, Jeroboam sought to secure his position through establishing a system of idolatry that would ensure no contact between the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah.

The ten northern tribes quickly fell into the same idolatry for which Solomon had been judged. Jeroboam made two golden calves and set one in Beth-El, a city of Ephraim, and the other in Dan, the principle city of the tribe of Dan. Jeroboam had reason to create his own system of worship. As all the men of Israel were required to appear in Jerusalem for the feasts of Pesakh (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost) and Succot (Tabernacles) each year, this would likely lead to a reunification of the northern and southern kingdoms, because Jerusalem lay in the southern kingdom of Judah. Jeroboam halted this pilgrimage and filled the void of the true Temple worship by creating his own temple, priesthood and system of worship. (I Kings 12: 22-33)

The northern kingdom of Israel was never able to repent of their idolatry and for this God judged them. Taken captive, Ephraim and its kingdom were eventually scattered throughout the nations never returning to Israel, just as Jacob has prophesied. Hosea, who was a prophet to the ten northern tribes, speaks of their sin and future reunification, especially in chapters 11-13.

Heirs Together With Israel

First century Jewish believers were confronted with a perplexing issue concerning the Gentiles-"was salvation solely for the Jews or was it to include the alien Gentiles?" The apostle Paul was the divinely appointed ambassador to the Gentiles. His mission was to bring them the awesome salvation of YAHshua, the Hebrew Messiah and to instruct them further regarding vital issues pertaining specifically to them as Gentiles within the messianic body.

Paul's powerful admonitions to the Gentiles in Ephesians 2-3 and Roman 9-11 were written to destroy latent anti-Jewish attitudes. Unfortunately, these are the very Scriptures the Adversary has attempted to eradicate from Christian theology. The church's ignorance of these scriptural safeguards has allowed the perpetuation of many distorted doctrines and unbiblical attitudes toward Israel.

 Simeon

What is His Name?

The prophet Joel proclaims: "whoever calls on THE NAME of THE LORD Will be delivered." (Joel 2:32). Proverbs asks a vital question, which is foundational to this book: "Who has ascended into heaven and descended? ... Who has established all the ends of the earth? WHAT IS HIS NAME OR HIS SON'S NAME? SURELY YOU KNOW!" (Pr 30:4). Do you know? Is the Creator's name God or LORD? Perhaps Jehovah? ...

The more important question is, "What is the Name of YOUR God-the one you call Lord?" The Creator of heaven and earth has an incomparable and sacred name which He will not share with other gods-for He will give His Glory to no other (see Isa 42:8).

Messiah Fulfills Holy Hebrew Feasts

What the Gentiles commonly know as the "Last Supper," was a Passover Seder (the ceremonial evening meal with which Passover begins). Messiah and His twelve disciples, being devout Jews, partook of this memorial dinner directly before He gave His life as the Lamb of God for the forgiveness of our sins.

According to YAHveh's infinite mercy and sovereign plan, YAHshua was crucified as the perfect Passover Lamb. In Jerusalem, at the same time that the multitudes of Jews were sacrificing their "spotless male lambs" (see Ex 12:3-7), YAHshua died as our sacrifice. For those who accept Him, His blood covers the doorposts of their hearts and protects them from the angel of eternal death (see Ex 12:12).

Benjamin

"The Holiness of My Great Name"

YAHshua, in the last paragraphs of the Scripture, is admonishing that a remnant must wash their robes in His blood of all that defiles including anti-Semitic attitudes (in the Gentiles), and anti-Messiah attitudes (in the Jews). Gentiles cannot go through the twelve gates of Israel (Rev 21:12) bearing anti-Semitism in their hearts, for hypocrisy and disobedience will keep them from entering those memorial gates. Likewise the Jews must humbly receive and reverence their Messiah with uncompromised obedience in order to go through their tribal gates into the eternal Promised Land. As YAHshua said, "Behold, I am coming quickly," both Jews and Gentiles must consecrate themselves to become holy priests who can stand in His eternal presence.

Many truths have been revealed and magnified. May both Jew and Gentile hearken to YAHshua who gave His life that they might live in the New YAHrusalayim united as one new man before YAHveh the King of Glory.

 Gad

Zerubbabel's Plumb Line

The Holy One of Israel is bringing forth His eternal "plumb line" of truth. He wants His children to see how crooked their ways have become as they personally and corporately have veered from and compromised His truths. ...

The Spirit of Truth is speaking to our generation, saying that while we have labored to build our churches, synagogues, religious programs, homes, and personal wealth, we have neglected His holy house. God's plumb line, which He uses to evaluate the faulty foundations we have built, is revealing crooked places. ...

The Great Architect is measuring the hearts of men and women, as well as every religious agenda, according to His eternal standard. He WILL have a holy remnant.

EPHRAIM AND DAN IN REVELATION

Ephraim and Dan both sinned with regard to Jeroboam's actions. Ephraim's sin was the institution of a false system of worship. (Jeroboam was an Ephraimite.) Dan's sin was one of "accommodation," as the tribe of Dan allowed the golden calf to reside within its territory.

This sin committed by Ephraim and Dan is significant, as these two tribes are not among those listed in Revelation chapter 7. Although there are different groupings of the tribes throughout Scripture, this is the only time where Ephraim and Dan are missing (replaced by Joseph and Manasseh). Searching Scripture, it would seem that the sin of idolatry within the land of Israel, has its "payback" in the last days, when these two tribes are deprived of the opportunity to testify of the Messiah. It should be noted however, that according to Ezekiel, both tribes receive their land grant in the Millennium.

There is an interesting verse in the Zohar that links Ephraim to the "church" at Laodicea found in chapter three of Revelation:

Soncino Zohar Volume II p. 67b - “And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out power”, namely, the celestial unholy power which presided over the act of idolatry committed by Jeroboam (I Kings XII, 28), without which he would not have been able to succeed. Now, when this king and this priest of the “other side” are subdued, and their power broken, all the “other sides” follow suit, and are also subdued and broken, and acknowledge the sovereignty of the Holy One, and in this way He alone rules above and below, as it is written: “And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day” (Isa. II, 11).

The phrase "... I am become rich" is quite similar to Revelation 3:17, and is related to the last days when the Lord's name will be made one (Echad) See the book of Hosea, especially chapters 11-13.)

THE REUNIFICATION OF EPHRAIM AND JUDAH

One of the important results of the end-time events that lead to the return of the Messiah is the reunification of the "lost tribes" of Israel/Ephraim with their brethren. "All of Israel" (the entire twelve tribes) cannot be saved unless they are all brought back into a unity (Echad). It is necessary for those of Israel who are "lost" among the nations (Ephraim, the "fullness of the gentiles") to come back in, and only then can this happen. This is the point of the "mystery" of Romans 11:25.

The concept of "Echad" (unity) is key to understanding not only Revelation but also all of Scripture. (This will be covered later in this study.) Although Scripture says that God is echad (Deuteronomy 6:4), we also know that at the present time, things are not as they should be between Him, Israel and the rest of His creation. That is why the prophet Zechariah says that, "In that day, the Lord's name will be one."

So, although Deuteronomy 6:4 is a statement of fact, it is also a prophecy that will be fulfilled at the return of Yeshua and beginning of the Messianic kingdom.

Joseph

Merciful Grace to Righteous Judgment

John the revelator, who had witnessed the onset of the age of grace, was given a panoramic vision of its cataclysmic end.

The age of grace and mercy through which Jews and Gentiles could approach the throne of YAHveh, had come to an end.

The righteousness of His name, which brought mercy and deliverance, will bring the power of His righteous indignation and divine judgments.

YAHveh's mercy will find ultimate fulfillment in cleansing the earth of everyone who has trampled the Lamb's blood under foot. The ark, which had been the seat of the Lamb’s mercy and forgiveness, will become the seat of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah's vengeance and wrath.

YAHveh's sovereign judgments will pour out upon the whole earth, including the outer court of man's tainted religious systems. Many professing, lukewarm believers in the Almighty will encounter the "Wrathful Lion" and not the "Loving Lamb" as He comes forth in fury to uphold the glory and honor of YAHveh's holy memorial-name and righteous commandments.

Reuben

The Unsealing of the Ancient Scroll

The prophet Zechariah was shown "A FLYING SCROLL; its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits [30 feet long by 15 feet wide]" (Zec 5:2). This scroll contained the truths, commandments and righteous decrees of the Holy One of Israel as spoken through the words of His prophets and scribes. These words and visions had been sealed and hidden from man's understanding until the time of the end.

The Almighty had shown Zechariah the scroll (the holy scriptures) opening as the seals were broken in order for its contained mysteries to be revealed in the last days. Through His mercy, the unsealed scroll would be magnified to such huge dimensions that no man could plead ignorant of its contents.

Issachar

The Saul Generation

Throughout the ages, the church has been lacking the full measure of the glory and presence of the Almighty. Christianity is not standing as a bright beacon in this dark and decaying world. In these last days, the church has become quite accomplished at bringing the message of salvation. However, it has not been overwhelmingly successful in bringing multitudes out of darkness.

As we have seen, the body of Messiah has fallen prey to the doctrines and traditions of men. These have given way to the darkness of apathy, complacency, lukewarmness and discontent. Empty forms of religion have evolved, becoming increasingly offensive and repulsive, rather than glorious and appealing, to the multitudes.

Shiloh: Talmud, Sanhedrin 98b - The world was created only on David's account .24 Samuel said: On Moses account; 25 R. Johanan said: For the sake of the Messiah. What is his [the Messiah's] name? — The School of R. Shila said: His name is Shiloh, for it is written, until Shiloh comes.

Ashtoreth: Principal female divinity of the Phoenicians, called Ishtar by the Assyrians and Astarte by the Greeks and Romans. Closely related to Asherah and Venus.

Talmud, Shabbath 56b - Rather it is as was taught: R. Jose said, and the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of Moab. Now, is it possible that Assa came and did not destroy them, then Jehoshaphat, and he did not destroy them, until Josiah came and destroyed them! But surely Assa and Jehoshaphat destroyed all the idolatrous cults in Palestine? Hence [the explanation is that] the earlier are assimilated to the later: just as the later did not do, yet it was ascribed to them, to their glory, so the earlier ones too did not do, yet it was ascribed to them, to their shame.  But it is written, And Solomon did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord? — But because he should have restrained his wives, but did not, the Writ regards him as though he sinned

Kemosh, Milcom (Molech): The fire god of Ammonites. Essentially identical with the Moabite god Kemosh, the worship of Molech included child sacrifice. Molech was fashioned with the face of calf, with outstretched hands upon which infants were burned. The country of the Ammonites was his possession according to Jeremiah.

The Twelve Tribes of Israel

Jacob fathered 12 sons. They are the ancestors of the tribes of Israel, and the ones for whom the tribes are named. Each occupied a separate territory (except the tribe of Levi, which was set apart to serve in the Holy Temple).

Asher, Benjamin, Dan, Gad, Issachar, Joseph*, Judah, Levi, Naphtali, Reuben, Simeon, and Zebulun

(Around the Tabernacle and in order of their marches)

The Eastern Tribes

Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun

The Southern Tribes

Reuben, Simeon, and Gad

The Western Tribes

Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin

The Northern Tribes

Dan, Asher, and Naphtali

World Identities: (1) Judah = the so-called Black Americans, (2) Benjamin = the so-called West Indians (3) Levi = the so-called Haitians, (4) Simeon = the so-called Dominicans (5) Zebulon = the so-called people of (Guatemala to Panama), (6) Ephraim = the so-called Puerto Ricans, (7) Manasseh = the so-called Cubans, (8) Gad = the so-called North American Indians, (9) Reuben = the so-called Seminole Indians, (10) Napthali = the so-called people of (Argentina to Chile), (11) Asher = the so-called people of (Columbia to Uruguay), (12) Issachar = the so-called Mexicans and Italians.

The sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Menasseh, were also given the status of independent tribes.

YAHSHUA AND HIS TWELVE APOSTLES

Who are the Twelve Apostles of Yahshua and why are they important in Yisrael? First thing you would have to know is the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael in the Bible. This is suggested because it's from these Hebrew tribes that the Apostles came from & our Rabbi Yahshua Ha Mashiach!

Yaqob (Yisrael) had thirteen children: Reuven, Shimon, Levy, Yahudah, Dan, Naphtaly, Gad, Asher, Yissakhar, Zevulun, Dina, Yosef, & Binyamin (oldest to youngest) Rachel & Leah (his wives), & their maids, Bilhah and Zilpah, conceived all of them. (Read Genesis 30 to 32 for yourself). However, only twelve (not thirteen) of these Yisraelites would receive special blessings from their father Yisrael. Dina represents these Twelve Tribes & woman. Eventually, these same blessings were not only given to them but to their seed as well. Most of these Yisraelites did indeed live up to their blessing! The Twelve Disciples that our Rabbi Yahshua chose are of the seed of these Twelve Yisraelite Patriarchs!

THE TWELVE ARE CHOSEN

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Shimon, who is called Keph, and Anyahu his brother; Yaqob the son of Zabaduyah, and Yochanan his brother; Philayah, and Bartayahu; Tomashua, and Mattyahu the publican; Yaqob the son of Apheshua, and Yahudah, whose surname was Tadashua; Shimon the Canaanite, and Yahudah Chereb, who also betrayed him. (St. Mattyahu 10: 2-4)

A lot of people might ask," Why did the Messiah chose twelve apostles to represent Him? He selected them because they represented the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael. The number 12 is very significant within the Holy Bible! There were twelve sons of Yaqob, twelve stones, twelve pillars, twelve gates of the city, twelve foundations, & now twelve disciples of Yahshua. Each of these disciples indeed is from the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael.

How could this be? Weren't the Lost Ten Tribes lost and scattered according to the Bible? Didn't only the House of Judah which obtained Yahudah, Levy, and Binyamin only return to Yisrael?"

The chief of the fathers of Yahudah and Binyamin, rose up and the priests and the Levytes, with all them whose spirit Elohiym had raised, went up to build the house of YAHWEH which is in Yahrushalem. (Ezra 1: 5)

According to the scriptures, we do see that these three Yisraelite tribes did return to build up Yahruushalem after being help captives in Babylon through king Nebuchadnezzar. So what happened to the rest of them? The book of King states that since they fell into idolatry, the Assyrians came and enslaved them! This was the House of Yisrael! The Twelve Tribes were divided due to Shalomon's idolatry. Yah told him that when Rehoboam becomes his successor, the Kingdom would be divided.  This prophecy was fulfilled when Rehoboam was king of Yahudah and Yaroboam, king of Yisrael. I used to believe that none of the Yisraelites escaped the Assyrian capitivity, but some did and the Bible shows this with Anyah the prophetess.

According to the book of Mattyahu, Anyah the prophetess was from the Tribe of Asher.  So evidently some Yisraelites did escape and returned to Yisrael, the rest were scattered around the four corners of the Earth. The Bible also says that only a Remnant shall return even though Yisrael is like sand on the seashore. This is also why Yahshua chose the Twelve Apostles to represent all the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael who were again founded and those that were lost still. Perhaps this is why the Messiah told the disciples to preach to the Lost Sheep of Yisrael? It had to been a remnant that came back to Yahrusalem. There is also the Remnant that shall be saved and founded again! This is why the Twelve Apostles are here to represent the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael!

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. (St. Matthew 10: 1)

Yahshua not only chose these twelve Yisraelites, but power was received to them by Him! They had the power to cast out unclean spirits and heal the sick as being Apostles of the Messiah.

JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES

"And Yahshua said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon Twelve thrones, judging the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael."(Matthew 19:28)

The Twelve Apostles of Yahshua will be judging the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael on this day. Why were they chosen to judge the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael and not the Twelve Patriarchs instead?

Who the 24 Elders?

"And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before Elohiym on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped Elohiym, (Rev 4: 4, 11: 16)

The Apostle Yochanan on the Isle of Patmos received a vision from Yahweh and in this Heavenly vision he saw these Elders. Who were these elders? Let's look at the number 24. What give us 24? 12 & 12 right? Right! So these elders to me are the Twelve Patriarchs of Yisrael, & maybe Yaqob's twelve daughters supposedly? Showing a balance between man & woman? Or are they the 12 Apostles of Yahshua with the 12 Patriarchs? For the Messiah chose the Twelve Apostles to judge the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael (the children of the Twelve Patriarchs), & they shall do this in New Yahrushalem.

THE TWELVE FOUNDATIONS

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Revelations 21: 14)

The twelve foundations of the city consisted of the twelve apostles that the Lamb chose.  Twelve jewels were also selected to represent the Twelve Apostles.  If we recall, there were also twelve jewels to represent the Twelve Patriarchs of Yisrael.

So just like the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael, the Twelve Apostles are of good importance to us! The Twelve patriarchs can be looked as being twelve apostles of Yahshua. Since we all come from these tribes, then we too can each be seen as twelve apostles also. Which is why the sealing of Yisrael in Revelations consist each of 12,000 people making up in all 144,000 saints of the Lamb! These are not the Twelve Patriarchs nor the Twelve Apostles, it is the seed of the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael. The original Twelve that Yahshua chose will be judging us in the Kingdom of Yah! The Twelve Tribes of Yisrael represent the Old Covenant.  While, the Twelve Apostles of Messiah represent the New Covenant, remember that Yahshua came to fulfill the Law & the Prophets not destroy it & He did accomplish this by unifying Yisrael's Twelve Tribes with the Twelve Apostles! Read your Bible a chapter on a daily basis to see whom the Twelve Apostles really are!

The Twelve Apostles

Holy to YAHveh honors His chosen people, the twelve tribes of Israel, who are forever engraved upon His loving heart and the palms of His mighty hands.

In sincere respect for His first-born beloved people, the seals of Israel
are placed at the heading of each major part of the Holy Books.

In the United States today the general view on whether someone is "Black" is the One-Drop Rule -- if a person has any black ancestors she/he is considered "Black", even with a clearly Anglo skin color.

According to Genesis 9:19 and the Table of Nations in Genesis 10, all mankind is descended from the three sons of Noah: Shem, Ham and Japheth. The descendants of Japheth, the youngest son, settled in Anatolia, modern Turkey, and from there moved into the Caucasus Mountains of Western Russia and from there settled Europe and Russia. They are the ancestors of the Caucasian peoples. Their main impact on Israel was through the Persians, the Greeks and the Romans.

Ham's descendants became the various Black peoples who settled the African continent and parts of the Arabian Peninsula. His sons were Cush, whose descendants settled in Ethiopia, Mizraim, whose descendants settled in Egypt, Put, whose descendants settled in Libya, and Canaan, whose descendants settled in Palestine and founded the cities of Sidon, Tyre and Carthage and, among others, were the ancestors of the Phoenicians.

Collectively, in ancient times the descendants of Cush formed a large ethnic group and were the main populace of the Cushite Empire, which extended from present-day western Libya to Ethiopia and Nubia, south of Egypt, all of present-day Egypt, and the Arabian peninsula into the mountains of Turkey. They spoke a variety of languages and had skin pigmentation ranging from dark black to medium brown.

From the first time Christian children settle into Sunday school classrooms, an image of Jesus Christ is etched into their minds. In North America he is most often depicted as being taller than his disciples, lean, with long, flowing, light brown hair, fair skin and light-colored eyes. Familiar though this image may be, it is inherently flawed.

A person with these features and physical bearing would have looked very different from everyone else in the region where Jesus lived and ministered. Surely the authors of the Bible would have mentioned so stark a contrast.

On the contrary, according to the Gospel of Matthew, when Jesus was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane before the Crucifixion, Judas Iscariot had to indicate to the soldiers whom Jesus was because they could not tell him apart from his disciples. Further clouding the question of what Jesus looked like is the simple fact that nowhere in the New Testament is Jesus described, nor have any drawings of him ever been uncovered.

There is the additional problem of having neither a skeleton nor other bodily remains to probe for DNA. In the absence of evidence, our images of Jesus have been left to the imagination of artists.

The influences of the artists' cultures and traditions can be profound, observes Carlos F. Cardoza-Orlandi, associate professor of world Christianity at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta.

"While Western imagery is dominant, in other parts of the world he is often shown as Black, Arab or Hispanic." And so the fundamental question remains: What did Jesus look like?

An answer has emerged from an exciting new field of science: forensic anthropology. Using methods similar to those police have developed to solve crimes, British scientists, assisted by Israeli archeologists, have re-created what they believe is the most accurate image (above) of the most famous face in human history.

"The Bible is the testimony of the Jewish people.”

Africa boasts one of the World's oldest civilizations. It was called Nubia; during the time of ancient Egypt, and the People of Nubia or Kush were Black. “Black/White” is a term first used 800 years ago as a tool to divide the Descendants of Adam.

“If there is no today then there can be no tomorrow or one must have a beginning to be able to have a present and then a future...SANKOFA.”
