This novella surprised me in that it packed a great deal of character and plot elements into a tight, fast read. I thought the project was handled very skilfully, weaving research and legend with creative, fresh elements. Readers will appreciate not having overused devices of the genre appearing, and doubtless enjoy Mr. Porter’s interpretation of the subject matter. Kiss Of Life

Brian L. Porter just keeps getting better. In this sequel to Dracula Doesn't Live Here Anymore, the reader goes back into the rich landscape penned in the first novella. From the beginning you have a feeling of impending danger and suspense. He handled the interaction between the reunited characters with great skill and left me guessing until the end. Expect his usual plot twists that blindside you even if you’re looking for them.
