In combat the greatest strategy is to master your opponent’s weakness and use it to destroy them. In sports before athletes compete they watch film in order to study and learn their opponent. The areas that we are
weak in have the greatest potential to destroy us. When your weakness is exploited in combat it
bounds you to its pain. Then you discover that your weakest areas can sometimes
have the greatest control over your life. Have you discovered the weak areas in
your life?

In 1971 South African political activist Steve Biko delivered a speech in Cape Town where he said “"The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed." The devil is busy in the lives of believers
in Jesus Christ deceiving and convincing believers that the power of God doesn’t
live in them. He exploits our weaknesses to the point that we find ourselves in
a deep bondage and then he usurps his authority over us. Mentally we are blinded
by our pain believing that we have no way out of the sins we have committed. We
make mistakes, we fall down and we forget how to get back up. We begin to
believe that we will never get over the sins we are entangled in and we lose
hope. Rather than commit to repentance we consider ourselves to be weak
spiritually and continue on in sin. Then we utter the famous words that satan
loves to hear “it is too hard to stop doing what I’m doing” or “I can’t stop
doing the things that I’m doing.”

God created the entire universe by speaking it into existence. The word of God says that satan and his demons tremble at the thought of Jesus Christ and Jesus lives inside of
his believers. Every believer in Christ has been made a child of God and the
Holy Spirit of God lives inside of every believer. The devil fears you and
trembles when you walk in the light of the Lord. When you began to speak the
word of God, worship God, pray, study your bible, fellowship with believers,
and share Christ with others satan is terrified. Now satan knows the former
person that we used to be and he knows the sins that we formerly enjoyed. He
begins to use our weaknesses against us but be of good cheer God is with us.
The bible tells us that we have nothing to fear, that God is on our side, and
we have been equipped with spiritual weapons (Ephesians 6). Trust God in your
life and commit your weaknesses to God and when you find yourself in trouble
spiritually pray, use your Bible to help you, and most important trust that God
will deliver you.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in
weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in
reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.-2 Corinthians 12:8-10
