 Kamil Brou's life will be forever changed after witnessing the murder of his best friend. Sean Strong is a newspaper reporter in the same town. When Sean and Kamil's paths cross, events become more strange. At first a suspect in the crimes, Kamil proves to be innocent. However, a dark part of his past from his African roots is brought to bear. Can Strong and Kamil work together to stop these evil doings?

Soul Lifter combines the elements of thriller, murder mystery and even the paranormal to weave an elaborate tale of good versus evil. The character of Sean Strong is well developed and will have the reader pulling for him all the way through. The element of African mysticism is very original and an interesting twist to the story.

The book had me up half the night on the first day I bought it: definitely a page turner.
