Good morning fellow members of The Book Marketing Network and welcome to another edition of What I Am Reading!

Today I am reviewing the novella entitled The World Behind the World by our very own Elizabeth Foshee. You can view Ms. Foshee's page here on TBMN and follow her link to her website. From there, you can get to where The World Behind the World lives on Amazon or you can stop by her horror short story section and read some of her chilling little shorts of deviants and mayhem-either way, you are sure to be in for a treat.

Dani has a special gift. She has the ability to 'step out' of the world and reality that we are all familiar with and enter The World Behind the World. To the rest of us, she would appear invisible-a slightly shimmering patch of otherwise transparent air, indiscernible to the very atmosphere we are breathing. But, while in this state, Dani can still see all of us that are still in the world she has stepped out of.

While we are all familiar with such films as The Invisible Man, or the more recent Hollow Man, we can unerstand that there are those that, if were endowed with this superhuman ability, would revert to using it for personal gain or even stoop so low as to engage in deviant behavior. Dani is not such an individual. She is the protagonist of the story and as you read, you will be very impressed by her good nature.

But, it would seem that there are others with gifts as superhuman as her own and not all people are of as good of character as Dani...

The World Behind the World is a very fun and entertaining novella. The reader will be intrigued by the way the supernatural is woven well into the mundane world we are all familiar with. Elizabeth is a very talented writer with a gifted eye for bringing out horror in situations that at first glance appear to be very normal.

If you have the time, I also recommend stopping by Elizabeth's website and reading her short horror stories. Most are only a few pages long and will definitely supply you with your daily dose of terror :-)

I am 4-LAN. Thank you for reading this edition of What I Am Reading.

Thanks Joleene!

And to everyone else reading this, please stop by Elizabeth Foshee's page and follow the link to her website.

She has lots of great horror short stories and I believe you can even read a little of her novella, The World Behind the World.

Elizabeth is a really nice person and has been helping me a great deal by providing me feedback on a weekly basis of the 3 chapters of Blood and Fire: The Vampire/Dragon Wars that she manages to read in her very hectic schedule.

She has a great eye for detail and is very helpful at providing constructive criticism for your book in progress.
