Look Who's Coming to PitchMarket 2010: Andrew Wilson

Andrew Wilson is a producer/manager at Evolution Entertainment representing a top stable of writers and directors in both Television and Film.


Born and raised in New Jersey, Wilson entered the business working in production. While primarily producing corporate video projects for companies such as AT&T and Johnson & Johnson, Wilson also worked at CBS Sports where he had the opportunity to work on major sporting events such as the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Realizing that his true passion was in scripted features and television, Wilson headed West in 1999 to make it happen.


Upon his arrival in Los Angeles, Wilson held stints honing his skills at Vision Art Agency and Pure Arts Management. He finally settled at Evolution where he has been ever since. Headed by Mark Burg and Oren Koules, this eleven-year-old company has produced such films as JOHN Q, LOVE DON’T COST A THING, and the SAW franchise, as well as the award winning sitcom TWO AND A HALF MEN for CBS.


Evolution has provided a home for Wilson to represent this gifted roster of writers and directors including renowned storyteller Clive Barker, director Darren Bousman (SAW 2 through 4, and the upcoming MOTHER’S DAY), writer Jake Wade Wall (WHEN A STRANGER CALLS), director Andy Fickman (RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN), as well as Erik White and Abdul Williams (director and writer of THE LOTTERY TICKET, respectively).


Currently, Wilson is co-producing THE LOTTERY TICKET for Alcon. The film is scheduled for release August 27, 2010 through Warner Brothers.


Andrew will be taking pitch meetings on behalf of Evolution Entertainment as well as participating in our Genre Roundtable.
