By he way, couple other things. #1, my photo is not in your "friends" section in your margin, yet you are in mine. I thought these things were reciprical. #2. Where is Delrey Beach? I have a brother-in-law in Crystal River, and Stepson in Palm Coast.

Thanks for leaving the comment. I agree with what you said, and I'd like to think that my "best is yet to come" also. In the 1950's I was thinking I was going to do great things by the time I was 27, like Lindbergh did when he was 27 years old. While Lindbergh was a good inspiration for me, "alas", life got in the way. Besides, the writing is better now, or so I'm told.

Thanks for the comment. The proof of book five of my recent series was delivered today and as usual, I called both my editors and had them come and take a look. They are the only people making any money so I was sure they would want to see what they had accomplished. Part of what I do is for them, one is my English major daughter and the other editor is my English major future son in law. Part of what I do has been to give them experience while they were going to college and also to give them a little pride in their accomplishments. I think it worked. Both, are top students as my daughter graduated number one last year and Brandon most likely graduate number one this year or at least very close to it. He is a triple major, with history, English and religion and both will be going on to school. So, you see, sometimes what you and I do, spill over into the lives of others and does some good that will begin a chain that will affect eternity in a good way.
As usual, nice talking to you.

There's been a growing sense that children are losing their childhood much too early. It would be nice if we could reverse the trend. Adulthood comes soon enough.

By the way, it took me 64 years before I became a published author. I look forward to many more books as I enter the twilight years.

Thank you for the friend invitation. I'm not a "childrens" writer, but it took me until 58 years to see a novel in print.

It's refreshing to find a book for children that's absent drugs, divorce, and dysfunctionality. Kudos.
