There's a lot information on that site, and I try to update it if there is a resource I think is beneficial to authors. I'm not sure what your budget is, but if you can, please consider featuring your book. I like featuring quality books, but most of all books with an appealing cover.

Hi Christina:

I've been meaning to get back to you. As far as my presentations are concerned. Obviously I have a good theme to get presentations.
I would think you could get speaking engagements at women's support groups. How many sales you'd make or whether they would pay you a fee is a crap shoot.
But I definitely think it's worth a try.

I keep my fees low. Seventy-five dollars. Whether I'll be able to charge more someday we'll see.

Whomever I contact, I send them a cover letter and copy of my book, and then call back about a week after I know they got it. Give it a try and Good luck!
