Publisher: American Book Publishing

Truth Seeker: Straight Talk From The Bible, the first book by Warren M.
Mueller, was recently released by The American Book Publishing Company.

I have found that most people have never read the Bible but claim to be
Christians. Thus their beliefs are based mainly on whatever they are
told by their religious denomination of choice. I have systematically
read through the Bible on a daily basis over the past twenty-eight years.
I have been a deacon, taught Sunday School Classes and small groups,
spoken in churches and conventions as a Gideon.

I started writing articles for my church newsletter twenty years ago.
Several of my articles are available on the New York Times About
Christianity web site. THE PASSION OF CHRIST was a featured article on
the New York Times About Christianity web site in 2006.

TRUTH SEEKER is for everyone who has ever wondered “What does the Bible
really say about…” It is a concise and objective summary of many
practical living and theological topics supported by numerous quotes.
You will be surprised by some of the popular religious ideas that are not
found in the Bible.

Dr. Kevin Fontaine, Christian author of The Jesus Cure says…” Mr. Mueller
provides cogent, yet comprehensive explanations of the truths that
saturate each and every page of the Bible. In other words, Mr. Mueller
has taken on the Herculean task of combing through the Bible to see what
it says to us about the issues that confront each of us everyday. Mr.
Mueller performs this near impossible task with grace and aplomb.”

Warren lives in the St. Louis area with Diane, his bride of 33 years and
has recently become a grandpa. Reach him at phycologist2002@yahoo.com.

I send you greetings of peace and love from the rest of the family. They, like I, are always with you and never leave or forsake you. The angels and the rest of us want you to know how precious you are to us.

When I agreed to give up my divinity and be born in the flesh, I did so very willingly. I looked forward to the time when we, you and us, could all be together and share in everything that is. I looked forward to loving you, hugging you, comforting you and encouraging you so that, when your life gets tough, you will feel secure and supported enough to face whatever you have to face. I looked forward to being the one you could rely upon unconditionally for that strength, comfort and encouragement whenever and however you need it.

Not only that, I looked forward to sharing with you that we created you to love you, and that we so hoped and desired that you would love us back. We want you in our life, and we love it when you want us in yours. It was so exciting when I could turn to my disciples and expand our relationship to include friendship and true fellowship. I offer that friendship and fellowship to you today as well, and I look forward to your inviting me into your life in that way.

You can see there are many reasons why I came in the flesh so many years ago. There’s more! I also wanted to set you free from thoughts and behaviors that hurt you emotionally and spiritually. If you were hurt by people or experienced hard times in your life and lost things like your health, relationships, or your way of life because of disaster or unemployment, I wanted to give you the tips and tools as well as the encouragement to recover emotionally and spiritually from who or what hurt you so you could have the kind of life I want you to enjoy.

Most of you understand why I sacrificed my life for you and what an act of love that was. It is my hope that this letter will help you understand how very much more my life and ministry were to accomplish. I look forward to expanding our relationship now and forever.

Joyfully, Jesus

Hi, Warren. I'm so sorry I haven't replied to your e-mail sooner--I've intended to every day but somehow life just keeps getting in the way! But thank you so much!!

As far as promotion, etc., I don't know what kind of success I'm having, either. I sent out a bunch of press releases to newspapers throughout Washington State, but have received no calls for interviews and don't know whether or not they've actually "run" the press releases. I haven't made any radio interview attempts as of yet--I need to look at doing that.

So, I'm afraid I don't have any tried-and-true methods to share with you at this point. One thing I can tell you, though, is that I haven't had much luck with traditional "reviewers", something that a couple of author friends have also experienced. In fact, on release day, on Amazon, there were already four "used" copies of "A New Promise" available for sale, and my friends tell me these are likely a result of would-be reviewers having agreed to a book review, get the book in-hand and then turn around and re-sell it, with no review forthcoming. They tell me this is quite common, and very frustrating, to which I certainly agree. I think it's unethical, as basically they're supplementing their income without providing the service they agreed to do, but what can you do??

One thing I CAN suggest would be to consider joining ShoutLife, a My-Space for Christian authors and musicians, and people who love books and music. I joined in May and have made some incredible friends, both authors and readers alike. This is where the majority of my reviews have originated--After I establish relationships with people, I ask them if they would be interested in becoming a "reviewer/influencer" for "A New Promise", tell them what it entails, and then send them a copy. www.Shoutlife.com. Free to join, and a wonderful supportive community of brothers and sisters in Christ. I highly recommend it.

Well, had better be getting along. Hope things are going well on your end. Don't become discouraged--keep promoting, both on-line and off, and remember that the Lord has brought you to this place of publication and that even though we can become discouraged when things don't seem to be happening, He knows His plan for "Truth Seeker", and nothing will prevent His will from being made manifest in your writing ministry. Keep fighting the good fight!

Happy Wednesday!

Julie

Hi, Warren. I'll keep checking the on-line venues and post the review as soon as the book shows up. I haven't found yours for "A New Promise" on Amazon or B&N yet. My "real" e-mail is Julieeller.MSN.com.

What kinds of things are you doing, promotion-wise?? Any good tips you'd care to share??

Have a great evening!

Hi, Warren! Good to hear from you! No, I haven't seen your review yet. Where have you posted it?

I looked for "Truth Seeker" on Amazon and B&N but didn't come across it. Perhaps I need to try again; maybe it just wasn't "up" yet.....

I'm so glad you enjoyed "A New Promise." The Lord has just done awesome things in my life, and I can't wait to see what He has in store next!

Many blessings--

Hi, Warren. Well, I have your review ready and have actually sent it off to your publisher. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review "Straight Talk".

REVIEW

Warren H. Mueller has created a genuinely helpful, easy-to-read guide to Scripture. “Truth Seeker: Straight Talk From The Bible” tackles some of the most frequently-asked questions that life in our present-day society and culture raises; whether the issue of God’s views of abortion, the issue of forgiveness (something each of us must deal with at some point in our lives!), anxiety/worry, the role of angels both in heaven and on earth, questions about creation, marriage and divorce, and the path to salvation, plus many more.

Mr. Mueller’s writing style is clean and succinct. He lines out each topic in a conversational manner, which explains each topic clearly, yet without pushing an “agenda”. Following his narrative, he backs up his discussion with applicable Scripture verses, derived from modern Biblical translation.

The time I spent reading “Truth Seeker: Straight Talk From The Bible” was uplifting, encouraging and vastly comforting. Mr. Mueller has a deep love for His Heavenly Father, and for His Savior, Jesus Christ, which is obvious as one moves through the chapters of the book.

I highly recommend “Truth Seeker: Straight Talk From The Bible”, for new Christians and those of long-standing faith. There is something for everyone in this wonderful work of ministry.

Thanks again, Warren. I'll also post this onto Amazon, B&N.com and wherever else I find the book.

Many blessings--
Julie

Hi, Warren! I'm sorry it's taken so long to get back to you....gearing up for release two weeks from tomorrow. Yikes! Press releases, letters of introduction to Christian booksellers.....But I'm just about finished with Truth Seeker, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with your wonderful book. Your writing is clean and to-the-point, and all points are supported by Scripture. Something I think that is going to appeal to readers is that you have no special "agenda", a far-left or far-right viewpoint which you attempt to "push" at readers to sway them to your way of thinking. Instead, you share your insights, back them up by Scripture, and move on to the next issue. Very well done!

I'll get the review out to your publisher in the next day or so, Lord willing. I'll e-mail you with the review before I send it out, just so you can preview it.

Hope all's going well, and that you're surviving the crazy weather in the Midwest! Have a great day!

Blessings--
Julie

Hi Warren,
Your thesis is a most interesting one to me having studied the known religions of the world. And although I might not subscribe to all that you believe, am happy to support you in your beliefs. Trusting that, as one who believes in the spiritual aspect of life, you might also support me in mine.
