I stumbled onto a web site with links to scores of newspapers where yu can post free ads for your books. You can stsart at Northern Express, the newspaper I write for, and The ORegonian, Oregon's primary paper. Both have free ads for items under $25. HEre's the link: http://classifieds.chicagoreader.com/chicago/ViewPage?oid=292204 for the CHicago Reader and you'll find a link to the national list. My ads are for my latest, "Chilly-Chilly BANG! or How We Freelanced Through Europe's COldest WInter in a VW with a Kid." If you ever owned a VW or had dreams of reelancing, this is the boook for you and you can download it from lulu.com for about $2.50 or if you feel flushed have lulu print you a copy for $12.50 plus postage. But do check out the site for free ads. It will take hours to post to all the papers in the country, but you may get a buzz.
