Hi Gail,

Congratulations on your fantasy series, The Chronicles of The Necromancer with The Summoner and The Blood King. I just wanted to mention to you a website I built called AlreadyPublished.com. It's for authors to promote their book. You do so by posting your book's first chapter, giving readers a peek into your book. The site is free and the list of books is growing, so please check it out. :) BTW, good luck with your books!

p.s. You can also check out this blog post on the Already Published Ning Network, I explain how to post your book. You can also learn more about the website there.

Best,
John

Hi Gail,
Thanks for adding me. Your blurb for The Summoner sounds great and your interview with Paul Kearney is terrific. It would be wonderful to be part of that re enactment he spoke of. The battles you and Paul spoke of sound amazing.
So much of what you covered interested me. Especially when you touched on the cost of battles on the landscape. That always amazes me. How did the huge army's survive when they lived off the land.
The idea of a battles, seiges, details down to latrines, water, wood and food. Supplying, resupplying...logistics.. it is fascinating.

They are the details that as a Fantasy writer, I find so consuming.

Even here in Australia we have medieaval groups, nothing so modern as the civil war, but they help with getting into the feel of things. Just the weight of chain mail.. it's great to have hands on access.

The interview was great.
Thanks for sharing!
