Hi Nikki,

I always appreciate a "strong female lead" such as those found in your series. Think you'd find my novel OMAR fascinating, in that one of the strongest leads is coincidentally female--Jennifer Nakamura, a star FBI agent who takes on global terrorists. And much of the plot takes place on the open sea.

I wish you continued success with your multiple series books and your upcoming promo publication.

Regards,
Craig O. Thompson

Hello Nikki,

I’m Reecy Aresty, a financial advisor since 1977, and author of “How To Pay For College Without Going Broke,” an invaluable parent/student manual (in 2 parts, admissions/paying for college) and the only book of its kind available in Spanish.

My ebooks and reports offer students, parents and grandparents of high school and/or college students (10’s of millions) time-tested techniques to get into the college of their choice and legal strategies to pay less than they ever dreamed possible.

Unless your list is mainly the under 40 crowd, I definitely have something to offer you. Commissions as high as 50%. Please visit my website, www.paylessforcollege.com I also created www.thehighschoolblog.com and www.thecollegeblog.com which will both go live next week. Thanks for your consideration.

Hello Nikki,

Thank you for the invitation. I appreciate it. I'm learning about this new social network which my friend, John Kremer set up. I'm eager for more writers to know about my Book Proposals That Sell, which captures my experience as a book acquisitions editor for the last five years for traditional publishers. I know many writers have used the book to get book contracts or literary agents--and it has a lot of endorsements from leading literary agents, editorial directors and best-selling authors. www.bookproposals.ws is where the Ebook version is located.

Thanks again,

Terry

Hi Nikki,

Hey, we share a "Leigh." And strong female leads -- I try to be one in my own life so I can set a good example for my characters. You sound like fun!

Wilmington has a lot of history too. Please let me know when your next book is finished. I'd love to read it.
Also, thanks for the tip on the book fair. I've been keeping a running list and that one is not on it (it is now!). Jessica

Hi, Nikki. Too have accomplished so much writing in such a compressedperiod of time you must be a well organized and efficient writer, and I suspect creative one, as well. It seems that you have every intention of keeping up the pace for the imminent future, at least. I did view and read some of your website. So far, I like the layout and copy. You have quite a few links, so I'm not finished yet, but will get back to you later with a more comprehensive observation.

I hope you will find the time to view my website, as well: www.hughrosen.com I'd be interested in your candid reaction and any suggestions you might have. Frankly, due to some serious health problems this year, I have neglected keeping it moving along, but will eventually get around to that. Presently, I'm writing my second novel, "Justin's Quest." The novel that the website focuses on, "Silent Battlefields" I began writing after retiremnet while earning my MA in creative writing at Temple University in Philadelphia.

When I was a professor in academia for thirty years, I wrote and edited a combined total of six professional non-fiction books, but always went the traditional route when it came to publishing. With the novel I decided to try the POD avenue after considerable research about POD publishers and familiarizing myself with both advantages and disadvantages, both of which, particularly the latter, are so often cited in the literature of publishing. The field seems to be shifting at an exponential pace and it will be interesting to see what emerges within the next few years. Traditional, POD, or self-publisher, it is a truism by now that unless your name is John Grisham or Margaret Atwood, one better be prepared to promote his or her own book. I'm quite the neophyte at that and am finding it very time consuming. I've had some modest success, but have decided to put more time into writing my second novel at this point. Best, Hugh
