I'm so excited!

Check out my latest blog post to read about my newest cover design, read the latest book review and find out how to attend my first book signing for the JGDS (Junior Geography Detective Squad) children's mystery state book series (signing as illustrator of course).

Here is the cover for the second book in the series just to tempt you further...

Isn't my job cool?

Hi Amber.
I checked out Chrysalis. Very cool job. I'd really like to invite you to my new Self Publishing group here on BMN. We're building a resource for publishing by writers there and I think your experience could help a lot. Come take a look around.

Just click on the "Groups" tab, then the green/gold Self Publishing logo and join up and read some of the posts there.

Like Aidana, I really like your illustrations.
Did you do this through a publishing company or just spring for your own print run?

It looks great.

I like your cover, what ph did you publish through that allowed you to illustrate your own book?

The one I work with does, but that isn't always a good thing...lol.

I would really appreciate any feedback you can give me from an illustrative perspective on some of the books I've illustrated recently, all the pointers help me grow in my chosen field.

Thanks,

Hi Amber! Thanks for leaving a message on my page. Your story about the "wee-folk" is probably the most orignal that I have ever seen on the topic. Back in grade school, I read three or four short stories like that, but I don't remember any of the characters writing letters to them.

Good luck with your book!

Hi Amber,

Your website is awesome! One of the best author sites I've seen. I like that you can turn the pages of your book on it--very nice. And the overall feel of it is just fantastic!

Best wishes,
Jeremy
