Hi Jessica,

Your story looks very interesting. My historical novel is based on a true story set in late 19th century Texas. Good luck with your marketing! I'm working on that too!

The history in Wilmington and especially the part it played in the Civil War is the reason why I picked it for the story :) I haven't started that one yet, but the first two books in the series are in print. I've got to finish 2 other books before I can start this one, but I'm working on the research now :)

Jessica: Thank you for being a Ning pal! I love your book cover! Reminds me a little (the nostalgia factor) of my Harkening, A Collection of Stories Remembered. I'm eager to learn more about the advantages of this kind of network.

I've heard of Mosby. We learn a lot of Civil War history around here. The next book in my Cape Ann series will move into Wilmington NC during the Civil War. One thing about the time period, there's a lot of research material available :)

Will you be at Book Em in Waynesboro, VA in October? It seems like I've heard local interest books do pretty well there. If you're interested, the link is www.bookem.org.

Hi Nikki,
It's set in the Loudoun, Fauquier area, and a little into the Winchester area. If you are familiar with Col. John S. Mosby, it's "Mosby's Territory."
