Hi,

Let me get this straight--you'll send me a hard copy of your book if I send you a .pdf version of mine. Is that right? You can reply to this by sending me an email message from my website. John

I send you greetings of peace and love from the rest of the family. They, like I, are always with you and never leave or forsake you. The angels and the rest of us want you to know how precious you are to us.

When I agreed to give up my divinity and be born in the flesh, I did so very willingly. I looked forward to the time when we, you and us, could all be together and share in everything that is. I looked forward to loving you, hugging you, comforting you and encouraging you so that, when your life gets tough, you will feel secure and supported enough to face whatever you have to face. I looked forward to being the one you could rely upon unconditionally for that strength, comfort and encouragement whenever and however you need it.

Not only that, I looked forward to sharing with you that we created you to love you, and that we so hoped and desired that you would love us back. We want you in our life, and we love it when you want us in yours. It was so exciting when I could turn to my disciples and expand our relationship to include friendship and true fellowship. I offer that friendship and fellowship to you today as well, and I look forward to your inviting me into your life in that way.

You can see there are many reasons why I came in the flesh so many years ago. There’s more! I also wanted to set you free from thoughts and behaviors that hurt you emotionally and spiritually. If you were hurt by people or experienced hard times in your life and lost things like your health, relationships, or your way of life because of disaster or unemployment, I wanted to give you the tips and tools as well as the encouragement to recover emotionally and spiritually from who or what hurt you so you could have the kind of life I want you to enjoy.

Most of you understand why I sacrificed my life for you and what an act of love that was. It is my hope that this letter will help you understand how very much more my life and ministry were to accomplish. I look forward to expanding our relationship now and forever.

Joyfully, Jesus

I agree. What a great accomplishment for you. Find the right connection, the right publisher....if you have a story to tell, there is an audience to hear.

Thank you for you sweet message. It came right to my e-mail box. Then, when I got here, I saw that your wrote about the difference between being shy and introverted. Interesting. Keep up the great work. I see that Hugh Rosen is a friend of yours, too. (see just beneath this message). Did you know that his book won one of my Noble (Not Nobel!) Prizes for literature that explores the human condition. Small world, huh?
Best,

Hi, Meghan. Thanks for the supportive note. I think your right. I believe that things like social skills, empathy, and the ability to see alternative perspectives cut across the introvert/extrovert classification system and they go a long way toward navigating one's way in the social and business world or any aspect of life - even reading a good novel in solitude. :-)

Best. Hugh

Hello all -- people are funny. So many people have commented and emailed and think that this is a huge step for an introvert to engage in social networking. This is easy! I sit alone in my office and chat with strangers. Online social and business networking is the introvert's dream! That said there is a difference between being shy and being introverted and while I will always be introverted (my feelings internally when I deal with people face-to-face or over the phone...) I am rarely shy any more (the way I act outwardly). My introversion just means that I am exhausted by social interactions - not that I don't like, enjoy or partake in them... (just that I may need a long walk alone afterward!)
Thank you all for your interest, your well wishes. I look forward to getting to now more about each of you!

Hi, Meghan. What a great title. I'll bet many people find your book of help. I imagine that making it in the business world as an introvert is rather diffcult.

As for myself, I was painfully shy as an introvert, gradually became more assertive, and found my niche in the academic world where I was able to thrive. Still, I love solitude, but then I'm old now -- 76.

Good luck with your book and future endeavors.

Take care,

Hugh

Hi Meghan,
I was an unbelievably intense extrovert who eventually blew straight past introvert right into hermit-ville. It's so much better being a part of it all instead of a witness isn't it?
Take care,
Ken

Dear Meghan:
Do you know C. Hope Clark. She wrote The Shy Writer. Seems you should know each other. Also must tell you that one of the sections in my THE FRUGAL BOOK PROMOTER is about how people who are shy...you know, the ones who don't want to do TV and book signings--can promote doing what they do best which is write. Seems we have a lot in common! I hope we stay in touch!
Very best,
Carolyn Howard-Johnson
