I think a lot of writers are introverts, or maybe we'd be trying to express our thoughts in some other way than hiding behind the written page. Good people must live in NC. I have a brother living in Washington, which I don't think is very far from Charlotte.

Thanks, Meghan! I'm a middle aged military mom who felt a calling to write a a patriotic inspirational book for all Americans at a time when we need that extra boost of faith. :) 'Secure the Fort (And Remain Under God), A Military Mother's Message to America' was released by Xlibris yesterday, July 4th! See http://securethefort.blogspot.com for details...

I'm another writer introvert, not liking the role of selling my novels. However, I just got a vendor's license, travelling 45 min. each way to do so, so I can try to sell my books at a Metaphysical Fair on the 21st. And agreed to give a half hour talk. I'm calling it "The Return, a metaphysical mystery. " So here I am, putting myself out there, in public, when I'd really like someone else to sell my book. So it seems we introverts have to push ourselves and put on the smiles. Thanks for inviting me to be a friend. Margaret G.
Meghan, Thanks for the invite - your book sounds like it's just the thing I need. I just spent the last 17 years in my home with 8 kids in my preschool and very happy to be there, now with 3 books out I'm finding myself having to network and build relationships and it's so hard! I'm the one who usually sits alone in the back at my husband's holiday parties, so I could really use the help in giving myself that extra push.
Thanks!

Nice website and interesting bio. I'd be interested to know more about the town you're living in. I believe leaving Istanbul this year beckons me elsewhere, but where.
If you want a copy of my book for the beach, the fastest way to get one right now is through Amazon or, if the one copy now remaining is gone, through http://themoonquest.com.
Thanks for your interest. If you're looking to get into The Zone for whatever you do, Ive got quite a few practical techniques in my book. Its called Zone Mind, Zone Body and you can get it from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. If you would prefer the ebook its available from my website at http://www.fitness-programs-for-life.com/peak_performance_training.html
Hi Meghan, Thanks for the invite. I've never really thought about being an introvert, although I guess I couldn't really be one. I used to be a pro actor and, until very recently worked on stage introducing the roster of bands that I managed, and now have a radio show - doesn't sound much like an introvert does it?
However, your book sounds really great, and what a fascinating subject matter. Charlotte, NC (I take it that is North Carolina? - you must excuse us 'Brits' we can only guess at what the abbreviations mean) sounds lovely though. Anyway, thanks for the invite, and I will think of something to send to you for inclusion.
Take care. Mike
