Jeff,
Thanks for the additional link. I was able to go back and read Chapter 1 in its entirety. So far, it has a very interesting premise. Your vocabulary and descriptive abilities are definitely making the read an enjoyable process. The prologue grips the reader from the start. However, when the story shifts to the character of Daniel, I have to admit that initially he comes of a bit whiny. However, when I read further into how the IDSC has turned NYC into this police state, it becomes evident that the protagonist's attitude toward the city and his plight to escape its jurisdictional boundaries are completely justifiable.
I will tune in again to continue with chapter 2. Thank you for your very thought provoking writing.
Best wishes and Happy Holidays,
Lance
Jeffrey,
Just visited your site and read some of the chapters you have put out there for readers to sample. I got to say, that speech in Chapter 3 concerning the state of our nation was very powerful and moving. I know yours is a work of fiction, but it rang true of what, we, the people are noticing more and more with our current government-especially post 9/11 times.
I will revisit your site and finish the rest. But, so far, good stuff!
Happy Holidays,
Lance
