Something About Me and My Book:: Jim Brown is an award winning television anchor and novelist and three time winner of the Associated Press Best Newscast Award. He has broadcast live for CNN, been featured in a BBC documentary, and an OSU educational film. He is currently a weekend anchor at KMPH-FOX 26 in Central California anchoring under his family name Jim De La Vega.

As a crime reporter, Jim has covered the Atlanta Child Killings, the Stocking Strangler and the Thurston School Shooting.

He’s published two novels, 24/7 and Black Valley. The latter has been optioned for film by Mosaic Media (the producers of 12 Monkeys with Bruce Willis & Brad Pitt and Elf). His work has been published in more than a dozen countries and translated into various languages including Japanese, Dutch and Russian.

Forgive my delay in reply. I have to laugh [good natured laugh ] when I read Sunny Frazier's pitch about my novel being a World War II "thriller." I think she mixed my description of the book I'm currently trying to sell which I said that one is a conspiracy thriller. For Thou Art With Me was meant to be main stream WW II flashback story, but I think the website explains that. Thanks for checking it out.
