Something About Me and My Book:: I'm a Gemini vegetarian who enjoys long walks on the beach...okay, just kidding! I am really just your average wife and mom sort, who discovered that writing fantasy is a great way to reveal the bizarre inner workings of my imagination, without appearing completely insane.

My book (Part I of the Lor Mandela Trilogy) is called "Lor Mandela - Destruction from Twins" and is about the mysterious distant world of Lor Mandela which--through the selfish acts of a twin enchantress--is headed for certain doom. When Audril Borloc, the small child chosen to save it, disappears without a trace, a group of spies travel to Earth and find sixteen-year-old Maggie Baker. While the age difference between the girls is obvious, Maggie has black hair and blue eyes, traits that are exclusive to Audril's ruling family on Lor Mandela. Suddenly Maggie finds herself bouncing back and forth between her small, less than exciting home town of Glenhill, Iowa, and this strange other world. Amid battling terrifying creatures, being abducted by a lawless band of Shadow Dwellers, and falling head-over-heels for the son of an evil warlord, Maggie realizes that years of wishing for a more eventful life was probably her biggest mistake, and that now, the fate of an entire planet could depend solely on her.
