Something About Me and My Book:
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, writer. My first published book, I'll Walk You Home, was in 2003; second, Persimmon Capital Murders in 2005; Refuge In Emptiness, and Under The Kudzu. Information about me, my writing, my inspirations, and my books can be found on my web site, along with my blog.
I have two additional novels in waiting.
I've been a life-long avid reader. I enjoy writing as much as I do reading.

First Day of School

Color in my world will be temporarily sucked away as lines of yellow school buses rumble through country roads and highways to splash the insides of those brick and glass buildings called schools with the paint of my world.
