Excerpted from "The Goddess Book of Psalms"
Psalm LXVIII.
They call me heathen; I accept their title with joy.
They call me pagan, for I am of the earth Herself.
They say I am infidel, but I believe in things beyond their ken.
They call me heretic, for I cannot accept their ways.
They call me idolater, but I adore the universe around me.
They say I am a perversion, but I am Hers who was here before they came,
and when they have gone, I will yet be Hers.

The Witches Almanac has just printed an anniversary edition of Charles Godfrey Leland’s Aradia: Gospel of the Witches. It contains an introduction, written by Professor Robert Mathieson, and after the entire original text is presented, an appendix is included titled “Modern Perspectives on Aradia: Gospel of the Witches”. Many of today’s most knowledgeable authors are in this appendix, and I’m very proud to announce that I am among them! Each author presents their own view of Leland, and his…

I've just completed a Book Journal for publication. It's virtually a blank book, or, should I say, a book with blanks for you to fill in. The many pages include Books on Loan, Borrowed Books, Books on Order, and Wish List. The idea is to maintain a list of all the books you lend out to someone, the ones you borrow from someone (and that can include library books as well), the ones you ache to own, and those you've already ordered. There's also a section called My Favorite Books, in which you…

It seems I'm so busy writing these days (and editing, and re-writing) that I have very little time for blogging. Add to that the fact that I keep forgetting where I parked my blog, and so I create a new one. So I have several blogs now, and it gets even tougher to keep up with them.
But enough about me!
Here's a bit of updating in case you wondered just what I've been up to these days:
I've now published six books, and I'm waiting for the art…

These three lines from Charles Godfrey Leland’s book, Aradia: Gospel of the Witches, have been quoted and misquoted for over one hundred years:
In the original Italian:
61. Sarete tutti nudi, per fino.
62. Che non sara morto l'ultimo
63. Degli oppressori e morto,
Leland’s translation of those lines:
61. Ye shall be naked in your rites,
62. this shall last until the last
63. of your oppressors shall be dead;
The actual translation of…

Hi :-)
Writing Astrology For Witches, but got delayed by a short book for Avatar (the movie). I have been asked to write a book to help fans learn the language of the blue aliens (the "Na'vi"). That should take me until Feb, then I can resume work on A---For W----. Also the reinvention of the tarot is in its final stages after 19 years. I have a professional artist doing the finishing art for the deck, and that should be out in ... June? August?
So that's me. What are you up to?
Thanks for the friends add :)

1.When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile -- I will know you are thinking of something that I would probably want to be involved in.
4. When you are scared -- I will rag you about it every chance I get until you're Not.
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much Worse it could be until you quit whining.
6. When you are confused -- I will try to use only little words.
7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

"because you are my friend".

I have found some pictures I want to include in a project I'm working on, and have contacted the artists. They want to know about my standard contract, and my payment concept. I don't have a standard anything, because I'm very new at this, and I don't know how the payment or royalty thing works between an author and an artist. Can anyone help me figure this out?
