Earlier on in history, probably. My grandafther John Quinn was from the Bronx who died about 1925 of a bleeding ulcer. He worked for the phone company in NYC where he met my grandmother.

My father was Joseph (who died 20 years ago) w/a sister Rita and they moved to Bay Ridge, NY. After my grandfather died, my grandmother worked for the phone company nights as a supervisor in Manhattan. They are buried in Calvary Cemetary in Queens.
