I'm way behind on answering posts, and I apologize. I'm glad you were able to take something away from that blog. Yes, oddly enough our characters do seem to have minds of their own. I had no idea when I started writing that they'd be leading me by the hand. I hope things are going well for you.
The main character in the story is an amateur sleuth who happens on a dead body. She is no investigator. In the case of my book, the sleuth is preparing a house (like a Habitat House) for occupancy and discovers a dead body in the closet. There is usually no gore in a cozy mystery.
Hi Richard, thanks for being my friend. I'm only a couple of years older than you. An adult crime novel? Good, I love crime! I started with Perry Mason and am now into all of the CSI's, Criminal Minds, Law and Order's, The Closer, and Memphis Beat, not ot mention the real stuff on Forensic Files, American Justice, and Dateline!

Hello Richard! I am a pre-published mystery writer currently working on a cozy mystery called "Sweeping Up a Murder."
Good luck with Where Loyalty Lies.
